Welcome Incoming 9th Grade Snowden Students

Dear Prospective Snowden Families,

Congratulations! We are proud to welcome your child to the Snowden International School at Copley.  As Head of School, I am very excited to officially welcome you to Snowden’s Class of 2024!

We understand this school year will be one unlike any other and want to remind you that we are in this together. Our goal is to ensure your student has a successful first year at Snowden International School. We intend to maintain our rigorous course of study while providing students a safe and welcoming school environment be that remote or in person. Snowden is dedicated to providing students with opportunities to become global citizens who embody the attributes of the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile.

Although we will not have an in-person orientation this year, we look forward to welcoming you to our Snowden community.  We have organized three opportunities for you to get the information you need for your student to begin the school year on Monday, September 21st. Choose the opportunity that best meets your family’s needs:

New Student Drive-Thru

Stop by outside our main school building at 150 Newbury Street to collect your schedule, meet teachers and staff members, and get your very own “goodie bag” of school supplies!

Session I:  Wednesday, September 16:

7am-11am or 1pm-3pm

Session II: Friday, September 18:

7am-11am or 1pm-3pm

9th Grade Student and Parent Information Zoom Session

Meeting ID: 811 0071 5931

Thursday, September 17th at 6pm

You are welcome to join us via Zoom as we share important information regarding our school reopening plan, classes, and introduce yourselves to our community.  You will also have the opportunity to meet with some of your child’s future teachers and be given information regarding your child’s summer reading assignment which will be The House on Mango Street, by Sandra Cisneros, which should be completed before the first day of school.

Congratulations once again,  we look forward to having your family as members of the Snowden community.
