This week we will look at the rise of Fascism and Nazism and we will add to our knowledge on Totalitarianism.
Remember our goal is to use this information for our final projects.

Fill in the information on the chart using examples from North Korea.

Today we are going to go over the 10 step to a totalitarian dictatorship. Then you are going to review the slide show on Stalin to fill in the chart on Stalin  (Today) and Animal Farm (Wednesday). We will go over towards the end of class.

This week we will work on the Raft assignment located at the end of the totalitarian notebook.
Also, I have attached links below that may be helpful, feel free to search for your own.

Please reflect on what you learned and how well you did during term 3. Be honest and think about your successes and struggles.

There is a slide presentation we will go over, and you have a hand out that has the same information and you will choose  two pictures, and determine what type of propaganda it is and why you think so.

Review the information in your Revolution notebook and fill in the compare and contrast Graphic Organizer.
Be descriptive and detailed.

This week we are going to start the learning about the enlightenment and how learning and questioning became the basis for societal change including revolutions. This reading will help you answer these questions.
On a google doc. answer and submit the answers to these questions:

What is sovereignty? How did it affect how people thought about their governments?
What were some of the limitations of the idea of sovereignty?
What does the American Three-Fifths Compromise tell us about sovereignty?
How did ideas about sovereignty affect the lives of some children?
How did ideas about motherhood change as a result of ideas about sovereignty becoming influential?
In what ways might the idea of sovereignty impact the way that a political community works?

Defend your reasons for the best type of Government.
In a two-three paragraph repose explain your Best Form of Government List. Explain in detail.

I will not be in school today, but I have left you this assignment to do and you should use time to get assignments passed in.
This will count as a quiz grade, and must be passed in before 2:15.

Over the next two weeks you will work on the assignments in this notebook as you prepare for a small debate at the end.

Today you will write a take a stand Essay. This counts as a test grade and needs to be passed in by the end of the day today.
